I am a writer living in Louisville, KY. In 2009, at the age of 70, I received an MFA in Writing degree from Spalding University. I have won a number of writing awards, including being chosen an honorable mention finalist in a Glimmertrain contest for new writers and a semi-finalist in the Nineteenth Consecutive New Millennium Writing Competition.
My goal is to write well. In a perfect world, I would love to have people read my stories and like them. That is why I submit my work to publications and why I occasionally enter writing contests. And why I've provided links here to some of my published stories. But my writing and my writing group -- The Grasmere Writers -- are paramount.
I have two very creative sons who have their own websites. Adam is a writer and Josh is an artist. You can find them here: Adam and Josh.
